Discover the power of your brain through movement.

Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®

Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement® is an experiential learning modality that uses gentle touch, and slow and varied movement to access the brain’s natural capacity to change (neuroplasticity).

If you desire a big change…

Do something radically different.

Come explore a neuroplastic approach where:

  • slow can bring you more possibilities than fast

  • a soft touch can allow you to feel more

  • ‘efforting’ less can make actions easier

  • learning can be facilitated without repetition

Discover a neuro-explorative approach that provides you

pain relief * mobility * flexibility * balance

connection * attention * alertness * productivity

ease * vitality * transformation * joy

Journey inward—deepen your brain-body connection with a NeuroMovement® Functional Synthesis Series.

A NeuroMovement® Functional Synthesis (FS) Series is a transformative, one-on-one program that taps into your brain’s natural ability to change and heal—a phenomenon called neuroplasticity. NeuroMovement® uses gentle, mindful touch and slow, varied movements, awakening new possibilities for movement, thought, and well-being.

What is a Functional Synthesis (FS) Lesson?

  • Each FS lesson is a personalized, hands-on session with a certified practitioner.

  • You’ll relax on a firm, padded table (or another comfortable position) while your practitioner gently guides your body through subtle, non-invasive movements tailored to your unique needs and goals.

  • Sessions last about 35–45 minutes, with additional time for discussion and integration of your experiences.

  • Many clients report feeling deeply relaxed, more aware of their bodies, and pleasantly surprised by new ease in movement.

What is a Functional Synthesis Series?

  • A Functional Synthesis Series includes several FS lessons—typically 4 to 10 sessions over one week (daily or twice daily)—to maximize your brain’s ability to form new connections and accelerate learning.

  • This intensive approach can help you:

    • Reduce pain and discomfort

    • Improve mobility, balance, and flexibility

    • Enhance cognitive clarity and emotional well-being

    • Recover from injury, neurological challenges, or surgery

    • Optimize performance in sports, arts, and daily life

    • Support developmental and neurodivergent needs, including for children with special needs

Functional Synthesis Series — What to Expect

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, and bring socks for your feet.

  • Each lesson is tailored to your comfort and individual needs—no two lessons are the same, and each builds on the last.

  • You’ll be gently guided to notice your sensations and experiences, supporting your brain’s natural learning process.

  • Many people notice improvements in ease, coordination, and overall well-being after just a few lessons.

  • After your session, allow yourself time to rest and integrate the changes—avoid strenuous activity for at least 24 hours.

NeuroMovement® is a holistic approach to human functioning and action, based in the understanding that movement is the language of the brain. Movement provides information the brain needs to grow and organize itself. And, in return, the brain organizes all movement, thought, feelings, and action.

Movement includes not only movement of the body in space—the movement of the skeleton and muscles—but also the movement of thinking, emotion, and feelings. All action involves movement in all aspects of the self.
