“NeuroMovement® is a holistic approach to human functioning and action, based in the understanding that movement is the language of the brain. Movement provides information the brain needs to grow and organize itself. And, in return, the brain organizes all movement, thought, feelings, and action.
Movement includes not only movement of the body in space—the movement of the skeleton and muscles—but also the movement of thinking, emotion, and feelings. All action involves movement in all aspects of the self.”
Accelerate Change With NeuroMovement® Functional Synthesis
What is a Functional Synthesis Lesson?
A Functional Synthesis (FS) Lesson is a one-on-one personalized session where a practitioner guides you through gentle, mindful movements to help your brain activate its natural ability to create new connections. This process helps improve how you move, think, and feel, unlocking greater physical and mental potential for everyday life.
Each FS lesson is a customized, hands-on session with a certified practitioner, tailored to your specific needs and goals.
You’ll relax, fully clothed, on a firmly padded table (or other comfortable surface), while your practitioner gently guides you through subtle, non-invasive movements.
Sessions last about 35–45 minutes, with extra time for reflection and integration.
Clients are encouraged to complete a Series of lessons (2-3+ consecutive lessons) to maximize neuroplastic benefits.
What to Expect:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, and bring socks for your feet.
Each lesson is tailored to your comfort and individual needs. No two lessons are the same, and each builds on the last.
You’ll be gently guided to notice your sensations and experiences, supporting your brain’s natural learning process.
Many people notice improvements in ease, coordination, and overall well-being after just a few lessons.
After your session, allow yourself time to rest and integrate the changes. Avoid strenuous activity a minimum of 24 hours.
About Kelly
Kelly is a certified NeuroMovement® practitioner who supports adults, children, and individuals with special needs through movement, touch, and applied neuroplasticity. Her NeuroMovement® journey began with her own healing – overcoming persistent hip and back pain, and other chronic ailments through this approach.
Passionate about empowering women at every stage of life, Kelly dedicates much of her practice to helping them find clarity, reduce pain, and move with greater ease. She believes healing begins with connection—to oneself and others.
Her diverse background includes corporate recruiting in New York finance and Silicon Valley tech, where she consistently leaned into roles that allowed her to help others learn and grow. She went on to create innovative career development and job seeker programs for tech professionals.
As a high school varsity athlete in volleyball, basketball, and softball, Kelly developed a strong appreciation for physical movement and its impact on well-being. She shared this passion by volunteering as a coach for youth volleyball and softball teams.
Now, as a mother of two, Kelly understands the unique challenges families face, strengthening her dedication to fostering resilience and transformation. She creates a supportive environment where clients can explore, grow, and harness the brain’s capacity for lasting change.
