NeuroMovement® is a holistic approach to human functioning and action, based in the understanding that movement is the language of the brain. Movement provides information the brain needs to grow and organize itself. And, in return, the brain organizes all movement, thought, feelings, and action.
Movement includes not only movement of the body in space—the movement of the skeleton and muscles—but also the movement of thinking, emotion, and feelings. All action involves movement in all aspects of the self.

Assist children with special needs
Provide strategies for cerebral palsy

NeuroMovement® - Functional Synthesis (FS)
A Functional Synthesis lesson is a one-on-one hands-on movement lesson that involves a practitioner utilizing gentle touch and slow and varied movement to help you create connections that highlight new patterns of possibility for your brain.
Lessons are conducted on a firm, padded table with accommodations available for various needs
Each lesson includes 35-45 minutes of hands-on movement and 15 minutes for discussion and guidance on experiences
Clients are encouraged to focus on the touch and movements throughout the lesson to participate in the process of awakening the brain to noticing differences.
Clients will be asked to wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement and to avoid garments that may limit range of motion.
A Functional Synthesis Series is encouraged for everyone new to Neuro Explorations. The brain’s ability to adapt to new patterns rapidly increases the longer the system can stay in this process of learning. Frequent lessons close together help accomplish this. An FS Series at Neuro Explorations ranges from 3 and up to 10 lessons in one week - either daily or twice-daily.

NeuroMovement® - Group Transformational Movement Lessons
A Transformational Movement Lesson (TML) is a verbally-guided movement class designed to enhance self-awareness and promote brain learning. Movements are performed in various positions, including lying down, sitting on the floor, sitting in a chair, and standing. Participants are challenged to explore new ways of moving that minimize muscular force and maximize skeletal organization. These lessons awaken the brain to new ways to move enjoyably and with ease.
TMLs are an excellent way to extend the learning from your Functional Synthesis lessons and will help you keep your brain in a learning mode while you continue with your daily life.
Reach out to find about more about TMLs at Neuro Explorations or purchase TML video programs through the Anat Baniel Method® product store.
